The cleaning method for rubber conveyor belts should be selected based on the specific application scenario (e.g., industrial, kitchen, mining) and the type of contamination (e.g., oil stains, dust, adhesive residues).

General Cleaning Process
(Applicable to most industrial and lightly contaminated scenarios)

Shutdown, Power Off, and Tag Out
Ensure the equipment is completely stopped and the power supply is cut off. Apply a warning tag to prevent accidental startup and avoid personal injury.

Remove Loose Debris
Use a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum cleaner to remove loose substances such as dust and scraps from the belt surface.

Pre-soaking (Optional)
For heavy soiling, you may first spray the surface with clean water or a low-concentration cleaning solution to soften the stains.

Prepare Cleaning Solution
Recommended Ratio: Cleaner : Water = 1:10.
Use neutral or specialized conveyor belt cleaners. Avoid corrosive chemicals such as strong acids or strong alkalis.

Spray and Scrub
Use a low-pressure spray gun to evenly apply the cleaning solution. (High-pressure water guns are strictly prohibited.)
Gently scrub the surface with a soft brush or sponge, focusing on stubborn areas like oil stains and adhesive residues.

Rinse and Dry
Thoroughly rinse off the cleaning solution with clean water.
Wipe dry with a cloth or allow to air dry. Ensure the belt is completely dry before restarting the equipment to prevent mold growth or deformation.
